I love 24 and love watching it each week on TV. I’ve been a fan since the first season but I feel I need to complain about some things. There are just too many things on the show that piss me off. So here’s the small list:
- Why hasn’t CTU learned its lesson about certain things? Jack’s father can walk around freely, make calls to terrorists and co-conspirators, delete contacts out of his dead son’s cell phone but they don’t see him doing any of this?! Don’t these people have some sort of surveillance cameras, and monitor ANY calls being called within CTU headquarters? You would think after all these years; they would learn their lesson and take a hint that not everyone is trustworthy. I’m sure the CTU mole of the year will be coming up sooner or later. Or maybe the building will get attacked or blown up again?
- Can’t Jack Bauer say something else besides “DAMNIT!” when he feels the need to curse? I can’t wait for the 24 movie, then maybe it will be more realistic and he’ll scream out “SHIT!” “FUCK!” or “JUMPING JESUS ON A CROSS!”
- Chloe’s husband, Morris, was forced to activate a nuclear bomb. So um, don’t they teach ANYONE who works at CTU or even in the Government/military to never give up any vital information or to partake in any of the terrorist demands? That’s the price you pay for working for them ya ass. Now there will be a shitload of bombs going to go off now because you’re too much of a pussy to die. Good going Morris!
- Why can’t there be one season of 24 where the President Administration isn’t corrupt? Season 6 has people trying to get the President killed or conspiring for the President’s removal from office. Didn’t this shit happen in Season 2?? And didn’t that happen last year too? Are the writers running out of ideas already? When is the cougar going to come into the White House bunkers and start eating people alive?
- Do the people that help the terrorist think they are going to survive and get their money? Some stupid girl decides to bring in Morris and thinks she’s going to live through that and go home with 7 million dollars?! Come on, watch a TV show or movie for once people! They don’t do that; you will die! Duh!
- I know it’s just a TV series, but can’t they show some normal human behaviors and daily routines? It will make the show a little more realistic. How about showing people sleeping? I’d like to see Jack tell everyone he can’t go on anymore without a power nap. Hey, the man can’t function without one! Why can’t the people on the show eat some food? The Sopranos has Tony eating food 75 percent of each episode, at least throw Jack a cookie or a banana. Another thing that bugs me, how is Jack Bauer or the terrorists avoiding all this traffic? It’s LA, the roads aren’t that clear…EVER!
- And the final complaint..Is anyone else REALLY sick of terrorism in L.A.? It’s been 6 seasons of 24 in Los Angeles and it’s getting predictable and stale. They need to change it up to NY, DC or give some terrorism to the Midwest for a change. We need something different! Have them go to Canada and work with the Mounties. Have Jack go over to Europe for vacation and have him working with British Intelligence & James Bond for a season. ANYTHING! |
