Oysterband is one of the few bands I’ve been listening for many years and still haven’t seen them live. Who knows if they will ever come play NYC again but in the meantime, I guess I have to resort to watching videos on YouTube. The Gaslight Anthem announce more tour dates, TV appearances and unveil cover art
On June 28, The Gaslight Anthem will appear (for the third time!) on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman. The band will also make a return appearance on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on July 27. In addition to Letterman and Fallon, the band has appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. I’ll be sure to post videos from some of those appearances.

Levellers announce acoustic tour. Plus get a free download of a new song!
The Levellers’ Static On The Airwaves is set to be released on June 25th. You can buy it on CD, vinyl, box set. Any other form of music I’m missing? The band already announce UK dates for November with Citizen Fish, which you can see the dates here, but now they announced acoustic tour in the UK as well. Plus you can download a new track off the album as well! Cool!

Everybody loves a good road trip movie. Road Trip is a funny comedy and it’s available on Blu-Ray for the first time! You just have to get it at Best Buy if you want it. This is Todd Phillips’ first non-documentary movie that put him on the map and it still holds up as being very funny after 12 years.
