This is sucky news for music fans in New Jersey. More and more clubs are closing down in the state thanks to high taxes or high rent, which is the case this time in “HoBROken” with Maxwells. The town I guess just wants to be known for extremely mediocre cake shops and bro bars. Maxwells has been around for ages and is world known, yet the town rather have something stupid in its place and keep raising the rent. Maybe Jersey City will get smart and open up a music venue!

One of my favorite British bands New Model Army are set to release their 12th full length album entitled Between Dog And Wolf. The album is suppose to come out in September and i’m looking forward to hearing it since their last album was awesome. Justin Sullivan and company will also be setting out on a European tour in support of the release as well. No word yet on any USA dates but I’m hopeful we’ll get to see them play by the end of the year or at least the beginning of 2014. Maybe they can convince The Levellers to tour the USA with them?
