I just love hockey. I love watching it, I love playing it, I love talking about it and I love reading about it. It's probably the only sport I watch religiously and take seriously. All the other sports just bore me to death and aren't exciting to me. Hockey is still a sport that gets the less respect out of the sporting community and I really don't know why. The players really deserve more credit. They don't act like whiny prima donnas like baseball or basketball players do. Or they aren't coked
up criminals like football players. Yet America is still in love with those boring ass sports. Those sports have time outs and commercial breaks that add up to be longer than a movie. It's REAL EXCITING, let me tell you...I just wish hockey got the respect it deserved because it's a great sport to watch all year round.
The NY Rangers open their season tonight against the Florida Panthers. I simply can't wait anymore for this season to start. The Rangers made some amazing off-season signings with signing two players that were always thorns in their sides. I'm just a little bit skeptical when the Rangers sign former enemies. Chris Drury should be great since he's been a long-time Ranger fan, even know playing for other teams. Scott Gomez used to be on the asshole Devils, but I always thought he was a good player. As a Ranger fan, you just suppose to hate anymore who puts on a Devil jersey. Once they move on, I don't mind so much..epsecially if that player is great like Gomez is. But we'll see, I hope the Rangers don't mess things up this season. Or hope no one gets hurt but time will tell. All I got to say now is DROP THE PUCK AND LET'S GO RANGERS!
