Oysterband is one of the few bands I’ve been listening for many years and still haven’t seen them live. Who knows if they will ever come play NYC again but in the meantime, I guess I have to resort to watching videos on YouTube. The British folk band played Later with Jools Holland with June Tabor and cover the Joy Division “Love Will Tear Us Apart.” Check it out!

Craig Ferguson is back in his home country of Scotland this week, but before he went, he jammed out to a punk song with guitarist Steve Jones of Sex Pistols. There’s even lady bagpipers too! Sounds a wee bit like Real McKenzies no? It’s lip synced but still fun to see.

Madness have made their return to the States by performing at Coachella 2012. They then will be playing a few West Coast dates, which I wanted to attend when I go to San Francisco but I’m going later in the month. I’m bummed but I really wish the band decides to play New York City in the near future, since their show in ’99 at Irving Plaza is still at the top of my list as one of my favorite shows of all-time.
