Pearl Jam played SNL last night. Jude Law hosted the show, and Jerry Seinfeld did a segment with Seth Meyers on Wekeend Update. Pearl Jam played songs “Just Breathe” and “Unthought Known.” I would have thought they would have played “The Fixer” or “Amongst The Wave” but those songs are great as well. Mayer Hawthorne’s newest video for “I Wish It Would Rain” premiered on MTVu’s The Freshmen website today. While I like this song, I wish if he did another song for a music video. Don’t get me wrong, I still like this song. But with that said, after only just discovering Mayer Hawthorne a few weeks ago, his debut album is just awesome! At least I think anyway. Gotta love some old school soul music! Check out the video below, and watch him sing slowly with a rain cloud over his head. Poor lil’ cracker.
