Mat Kearney recently premiered a new music video, this time for “Ships in the Night.” Mat’s Young Love album was one of my favorite albums last year and it’s still in a heavy rotation on my iPod. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds released one of my favorite albums last year. He’s still making the rounds and touring here and there. I think he just played Coachella? Noel stopped by Kimmel Live and performed “AKA… What a Life!,” which is a great driving song and he also plays one of my favorite Oasis songs “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”

Madness have made their return to the States by performing at Coachella 2012. They then will be playing a few West Coast dates, which I wanted to attend when I go to San Francisco but I’m going later in the month. I’m bummed but I really wish the band decides to play New York City in the near future, since their show in ’99 at Irving Plaza is still at the top of my list as one of my favorite shows of all-time.
