On June 28, The Gaslight Anthem will appear (for the third time!) on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman. The band will also make a return appearance on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on July 27. In addition to Letterman and Fallon, the band has appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. I’ll be sure to post videos from some of those appearances.

This year’s Joey Ramone’s Birthday Bash is set to be held on Saturday, May 19th at the Studio @ Webster Hall. In anticipation of the forthcoming posthumous new Joey Ramone CD, “…ya know?,” the event will culminate in a live performance of the entire album in advance of its actual release. The set will feature a band of renowned punk musicians, led by Ramone’s brother Mickey Leigh. No word if Hologram Joey will make an appearance or not.

He/She will be known as Laura Jane Grace and be still married to wife Heather. Why change to Laura Jane Grace when you can make things easy and just be called Tammy Gabel? Just have to change to o; you can probably even just scrape out your driving license to make it look like an a. Tom is incredibly brave for coming out to do this, but wonder how Against Me will sound now. Maybe if you have some vinyl of Against Me and sped up the record, you can get a good idea?
