Happy Holidays ReadJunkies! Hope everyone is having a happy Festivus! I’ll be taking a break from the site for a few days to get ready for Feets of Strength. I know I can win this year! Plus I got to get ready to hear all the grievances. Ugh I hate that part.
Everyone have a happy, healthy, safe holiday…I guess

LOS ANGELES Bettie Page, the 1950s secretary-turned-model whose controversial photographs in skimpy attire or none at all helped set the stage for the 1960s sexual revolution, died Thursday. She was 85.
Page was placed on life support last week after suffering a heart attack in Los Angeles and never regained consciousness, said her agent, Mark Roesler. He said he and Page’s family agreed to remove life support. Before the heart attack, Page had been hospitalized for three weeks with pneumonia.
“She captured the imagination of a generation of men and women with her free spirit and unabashed sensuality,” Roesler said. “She is the embodiment of beauty.”

How about lower your damn prices and perhaps I’ll go back to Disney World. It cost like $1000 (per person) for 5 days to stay at a park hotel, park passes and other things. It’s just too much to spend in this economy; so maybe you should lower your admission prices and then you might see attendance peak up!
From Yahoo:
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) The Walt Disney Co on Thursday said bookings at its theme parks have declined “considerably” in the last month as the global economy has soured, and its shares slid 9 percent in extended trade.
The news came as the No. 2 U.S. entertainment company reported a 13 percent decline in quarterly net income due in part to a bad debt charge. Revenue for the period, however, topped Wall Street analysts’ estimates.
Disney said the advertising climate had softened the performance of its cable and broadcast networks, and that its U.S. theme parks and resorts suffered under higher labor and fuel costs.
In addition, on a conference call with analysts, executives said attendance at its U.S. theme parks is down 1 percent so far in the current quarter and that bookings for the first two quarters of fiscal 2009 are down “a little under 10 percent” from last year.

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone is going out tonight and wearing their favorite Sarah Palin costumes! I know I am ha ha. I’m joking of course. If you go out trick or treating kids, make sure to have you parents check for razor blades and poison in the candy. Please excuse me, there’s a trick or treater outside and I have to throw eggs at him and eat his candy.
Here’s lil’ Bill O’Reilly yelling at Mass. Rep. Barney Frank. This is only a minute long but man, it’s freakin’ hilarious! And it’s pretty sad that this kind of drivel comes out O’Reilly’s mouth.

Want to see something gross!? Watch Janos Baranyai of Hungry trying to lift barbells in the Olympics and see his elbow go the other way! Talk about fucking pain! What’s funny is how the Chinese act to the injury and cover it up with people in the way. I wonder if those people were CGI?
Don’t watch if you get easily grossed out…
