3 Daft Monkeys "Go Tell The Bees EP"

Record Label:
Genre: Folk Rock
Band Link: http://www.3daftmonkeys.co.uk/
I had the pleasure of seeing 3 Daft Monkeys when I was over in London last December. They opened up for the Levellers and as soon as I heard their music; I knew I would like the band. They had this eclectic folk sound and you can't really classify them under one genre. They play a mixture of Celtic, British Folk, gypsy, dance & dub rock and maybe even punk rock. Whatever genre it is, you will be dancing to their music; I know I did and I had a camera around my neck too!

The band will be releasing a new full length in February called “Social Vertigo” but now you can hear 3 new songs from that upcoming album. This EP also contains a remastered version of my favorite 3DM song called “Astral Eyes.” That was one of the songs that stood out when I saw the band live and now I just listen to it all the time. The first song off the new EP is called “Go Tell The Bees” and it has a great fiddle opening motif. It sounds like perfect part to play if you were sneaking around somewhere. I believe the song is about making the planet a better place to live in and spreading the word about it. I think the songs “Paranoid Big Brother” and “Social Vertigo” are both great songs and it definitely makes me want to hear the new full-length CD as soon as possible. If you like awesome folk rock music that will make you dance, then check out this new EP from 3 Daft Monkeys.
