They might be nu-metal, but props to them for expanding the definition. They're no Korn clone - they mix up a lot of different metal and hardcore styles, including a little old school (the background vocals remind me of Queensryche for some reason, but then again, everything reminds me of Queensryche).

Ultimately, though, it IS nu-metal, and therefore it IS chunky aggressive rock with vocals that inevitably have to reach a screaming crescendo. So it's really not something I'd listen to if I had a Queensryche CD nearby. Which I do. Cuz they rule.

Bottom Line: I like Queensryche.
