A Day To Remember "For Those Who Have Heart"

Record Label: Victory Records
Genre: Screamo
Buy on Amazon.com
Well I guess you should never judge a band by the album cover because i'm thinking this band would sound like an old school, tough guy hardcore band from Victory's early years. They are slightly hardcore but it's more of that screamo stuff than straight up hardcore. If this band ditched the mall punk sounding singing and stuck with the screaming vocals, I'd actually really like this band a lot. The songs were like a rollercoaster for me because I'd like the rough screeching vocals, but then it got all whiny like a teenager getting grounded. A Day to Remember is pretty much very generic, so I'm not sure if you'll like this album or not. If the band got rid of the whininess, they would be okay.
RATING & SUMMARY:
Bottom Line: Ditch the whiny mall punk singing.
Notable Tracks: Speak of the Devil
