Wow. This is Brad Smith's (Blind Melon/Unified Theory) solo album, and - I'm shocked to say this - it's good! It has a very sweet, smooth heartland rock sound without being sappy or predictable. While not every song is a winner, they're interesting and biographical, and the album as a whole is mostly mellow, slightly psychedelic, and very infectious. |
