Wonderfully simple garagey punk from NYC. They switch between sounding like The Ramones, The Heartbreakers, and The Stooges, without having any of today's self-conscious hipsterness of being retro.
So, yeah, there's nothing new or original here, but sometimes you just need some competent, standard '77-style punk rock to clean the palate. This won't knock your socks off, and many of the songs hover around mediocrity, but it'll at least remind you why today's bands suck. |
