It's been awhile since I've heard something from Adeline, Green Day's label. Glad they're still around.

Anyway, Broadway Calls is a youthful mall punk band that's teetering awfully close to the Fall Out Boy style. Although marketed as "pop punk," vocals are angsty instead of poppy or snotty, guitars are mid-tempo, and there are cheesy breakdowns galore.

They're competent, but they suffer from being late to the game and not catchy enough to stand out. Plus they don't rock.
RATING & SUMMARY:
Bottom Line: Hoped for a pop punk release from Adeline, but got mediocre bandwagon mallpunk.
