Airy ambient/trip pop with gothy female vocals and a mellow groove. Think a mix of Postal Service, Tricky, and Switchblade Symphony.
Somehow, I love it.
It's just got a great, psychedelic vibe, solid, steady beats, and while the vocals don't have the best range, they fill the head-trippy space well. It's a great album for crashing, smoking, or brooding.
It is a long disc with 15 4-5 minute tunes, and after awhile it can drag. But towards the end is a remarkable cover of Fugazi's "Promises", and this version is an improvement, bringing to mind Nouvelle Vague if they were gothy and acid house.
