This indie rock band is okay, if shoegazy and cheesy, but the singer really doesn't sound into it. He doesn't even sound like a singer. Honestly, he sounds like a nerdy hobbit.
Don't get me wrong - I like hobbits, and sometimes they can sing a lusty drinking song while stomping barefoot on a tabletop, but this guy just sounds plain nerdy and weak. I totally makes this album a drag.
And it makes me wonder - why be in a band and record an album if you're kinda blah to the whole thing? Don't you want to ROCK?! *shakes head in sad confusion* |
