We owe Jump Up! a huge debt of gratitude for helping introduce the world to this incredible Swiss rockabilly act. The Peacocks’ sophomore album is a little more punky and edgier than the ultra-cute, rockabilliest “Come With Me.” While I absolutely adore “Come With Me,” the punkiness isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and will probably open a lot more doors for them in the States. Plus, the new album is still excellent, the cuteness is still there, and like power rock trio Rush, you can’t help wondering “How could just three people create such great music?” RECOMMENDED! |
