I once thought I liked this band, but I guess not. I had trouble listening to this album. The music is fine, but the vocals (which I once thought I liked) are highly brain-piercing. Not in a screechy please-shoot-me-before-she-sings-again Metro Stylee way, but more in a yowza-the-vocals-are-produced-way-too- prominently-in-the-mix I-can't-really-listen-to-this sort of way. Well regardless, it's painful. However, I know there are Metro Stylee fans out there, and if they can stomach those vocals they can stomach anything. But the Robustos sound nothing like Metro Squeeky, so maybe not. Well I don't know what else to tell you, except thank god Metro Stylee broke up.
