Strix Vega "Drunken Sky"

Record Label: S/R
Genre: Indie
Start with the sleepy slowness of Galaxie 500 but take away their hypnotic magic. Then add weak, quiet alt-folk vocals, and pour into very, very long songs of 5-6 minutes.

Sure, Strix Vega are pleasantly sleep-inducing, but the music isn't memorable or interesting. They sound like Tom Petty mumbling a lullaby while OD'ing on heroin.
