Tim Version "Decline of the Southern Gentleman"

Record Label: No Idea
Genre: Punk

The press release calls the Tim Version "Gainesville punk," yet they are from Tampa? Is that an inside joke or something? I don't know, it seems silly. Anyway, The Tim Version have been around for awhile (almost 10 years?), touring across the country, England and Japan. I just never heard of them before. The singer happens to be a rocket scientist though, so I wonder if him and Milo of the Descendents try to outsmart each other.

The album starts off with "Shing Splits," and you pretty much can figure out what type of band The Tim Version are from that song. They are a straight forward, screaming punk rock. There's nothing really bad about this album, but there's also nothing really that makes me scream out and say "this album is fucking awesome!" It's just a decent punk rock album that many people will like.
RATING & SUMMARY:
Bottom Line: The Tim Version is a good, hard working Florida punk rock band!
Notable Tracks: Shing Splits, where the Wild Men Are
