Her son Tim is her chauffer, taxiing her to and from each and every show with little of no chance of having a personal life of his own…until he meets the girl of his dreams named Jill. When his mom finds out that Tim has met a girl and has been sneaking out to see her, she does everything in her power to separate the two young lovers and make Jill feel uncomfortable at every given opportunity.

“Introducing The Dwights” is a romantic comedy with an awkward twist about it. The characters are somewhat unbelievable but not over the top. Jean Dwight is a nightmare of a mother who cares more about her failing career than her two sons at home. Tim Dwight is and awkward introvert that is too afraid to stand up to his mother even if it means losing the girl of his dreams. Emma Booth is and attractive lass with a Renee Zellweger quality about her who is prone to loosing her clothes at the drop of a dime. Mark Dwight, Tim’s handicapped brother was one of the funnier characters throughout the story, always getting in some kind of trouble or lightening up a tense moment with an off the wall comment.

Overall, “Introducing The Dwights” was funny, entertaining and honest. There were some parts of the story that seemed inappropriate and the run time was a bit on the long side, but if you’re in the mood for a date movie, than grab your boyfriend, girlfriend, mom, dad, cat, dog or whatever you’re into as well as a big bag of popcorn.
