Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

Company: Lucas Arts
Platform: Nintendo 64
What's it about? You are the legendary Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones. World War II has just ended and, exhausted by conflict, Indiana is trying to resume his archeological digging in the American Southwest…far from the excitement of his past. As usual, this is not meant to be. The Soviet Union has recently dropped it's "Iron Curtain" upon most of Europe, provoking what will come to be known as the Cold War. Indy has discovered that the Russians have uncovered remnants of the Tower of Babel and

have formed a plan to seek out pieces of a machine that was believed to have been housed in the tower.

This infernal machine is believed to possess the power to reach across and harness the very dimensions of time and space. You are in a race against time to discover the pieces of this machine before they fall into the hands of the Soviets. This game is based on the computer game of the same name.

Replay Value: This game was only released on a limited scale. Most people have never even heard of it. If you were one of the lucky ones to get your hands on it, you realize how great this game is. It is an action adventure/role playing game. The graphics were excellent for the time, the sound effects were well done especially for an N64 game, and there are a handful of levels with objectives to complete, hidden treasures to uncover, and weapons to discover. This game is a similar to Tomb Raider and the control set up is like that of Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine will provide you with many hours of exploration and pure gaming enjoyment. If you can find this game, pick it up. You won't regret it.
