Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

Jeff Rosenstock has a new album coming out on Side One Dummy called We Cool?. The album will be out out March 3rd and Jeff premiered a music video for the track “Nausea” on AV Club today. While I’m not really a fan of the song (seems like a song that will grow on me though), the music video itself is pretty funny.

The confetti-laden video premieres exclusively on The A.V. Club, who are also sponsoring Jeff’s spring tour alongside Andrew Jackson Jihad, The Smith Street Band and Chumped. Additional dates, listed below, featuring Jeff Rosentock headlining with Chumped go on sale tomorrow at 12PM ET.

Filmed at DIY art mecca Silent Barn in Brooklyn, NY, the video for “Nausea” is just as good at being weird and totally offbeat as Jeff Rosenstock himself. There’s a performance with Jeff and his bandmates, a whole bunch of confetti vomit (yup), free knives (huh?) and of course, tacos (duh). Try to decipher that message without watching the video. You can’t.

Mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Tony Molina, Joyce Manor, Deafheaven), We Cool? serves as a much-needed alternative to the over-bloated rock star faux-indie bullshit that seems to be overwhelming today’s music scene. From his early days in the Long Island punk scene to his recently laid to rest DIY collective Bomb The Music Industry!, Jeff Rosenstock has always had a penchant for keeping things weird. He’s unapologetically himself always and We Cool?, is no different.
