Morgan Heritage premiered a new music video for their track “Ends Nah Meet.” The track is from their new album Here Come The Kings on VP Records. The band will be playing BB Kings in New York on November 7th.
Directed by the band and Maximilian Shelton, the video features a montage of clips from Jamaica, Morgan Heritage’s most recent European tour as well as historical public domain footage documenting the economic struggle that people of all classes (lower, middle and upper) face on a daily basis.
“We wanted to connect the message in the song to real life situations over the last 100 years by using current and historic cinematography,” states Mojo Morgan, the group’s percussionist and vocalist.
“Ends Nah Meet” is off the group’s first studio album in five years ‘Here Come The Kings’ (VP Records, June 11). Filled with brilliant instrumentation and empowering lyrics, the 12-track set explores new sounds that successfully fuse roots, r&b, and a hint of dancehall.
