Firefly creator Joss Whedon recently was interviewed for Scifi.com and was asked about a sequel to the popular Serenity movie, he dropped this bombshell: A sequel is in the works and will be filming at the start of 2009!
The original cast is already signed up for the sequel, including Alan Tudyk which is a bit odd since he died in the first movie. Maybe he will be in it through flashbacks? Whedon was still somewhat quiet on the news but was going to make an official announcement on his own website shortly. This is great news!
