Cinematic Titanic (MST3K) announce more movie dates!
The wacky bunch from the original Mystery Science Theater 3000 have announced more dates for live movie riffing! Cinematic Titanic consists of original creator Joel Hodgson, Trace Beaulieu (Crow, Dr. Forrester), J. Elvis Weinstein (Tom Servo, Dr. Erhardt), Frank Conniff (TV’s Frank) and Mary Jo Pehl (Pearl Forrester). They have done various cities tours in the past but have now added 5 more dates. Each city will get 2 nights, 2 different movies. Sounds like a sweet deal.
Here are the dates:
ATLANTA, GA – MAY 15-16 – Alliance Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center (PRE-SALE TIX ON SALE NOW – code: mst3k)
PHOENIX, AZ – MAY 22-23 – Mesa Arts Center (Pre-Sale Starts Monday- code: mst3k)
PORTLAND, OR – MAY 29-30 – The Newmark
DALLAS, TX – JUN 5-6 – Lakewood Theatre
PHILADELPHIA, PA – JUN 12-13- The Tracadera

This sounds a like a great event!
My friend sent me this email.
“Dear friends, sometimes life offers up amazing and beautiful opportunities, and last night I was able to take advantage of one of those in a meaningful, profound way. This event touched me in a way that I didn’t think possible, touched me in a way that spoke to my soul’s very essence. Outside of the birth of a child, the joining of life partners, or spiritual enlightmentment, I just never comprehended that life could offer such beauty.
I spent three of the best hours of my life watching MST3K live at the Castro theater, laughing with such bliss that I came within a hairs breadth of pissing myself with joy, a life’s goal of mine. From here on out, I will forever worship at the temple of Joel, Tom, and Crow. If the opportunity ever comes up again, and it will, all your lives will be changed for the better if you too go, letting nothing stop you, letting no excuse tarnish what will be one of the defining moments of your lives as well.
