After 19 years, Indiana Jones faces his toughest battle ever... with his internet critics
The long-awaited return of Indiana Jones has been undermined after the film's producers were forced to scale back its launch party this weekend in Cannes.
The film, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, has been panned by internet critics and it is thought film executives are less than enthusiastic about director Steven Spielberg's effort.
Spielberg and producer George Lucas have gone to enormous lengths to keep the blockbuster under wraps, but movie website Ain't it Cool news published a detailed review last week.
And it was a stinker. "This is the Indiana movie that you were dreading," wrote a user who calls himself ShogunMaster.
