Variety: Oscar-winner Jim Broadbent is the latest Brit actor to join the teaching staff at Hogwarts.
Broadbent told sci-fi website Dark Horizons that he's been asked to join the cast of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" as Horace Slughorn, a retired potion's master lured back to the school in the sixth installment of the "Potter" franchise, due out in November 2008.
