Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

Hollywood lost another because of stupid cancer. Horror legend Wes Craven passed away yesterday at the age of 76 after succumbing to brain cancer. Wes Craven created the Nightmare of Elm Street series and the character that gave me nightmares every night as a kid (and still do), Freddy Krueger. Besides A Nightmare On Elm Street, he also created/directed the Scream series, The Hills Have Eyes, Swamp Thing, The Serpent and the Rainbow, The Last House on the Left, The People Under the Stairs and loads of other movies.

Hollywood stars took to social media to offer their condolences as well celebrating the life and works of director, writer and producer Wes Craven, the master of horror, who died Sunday aged 76 after losing his battle with brain cancer.

Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films, the studio behind the Craven’s Scream films, said in a statement that he was “heartbroken” at the news.

He added: “We enjoyed a 20 year professional relationship and more importantly a warm and close friendship. He was a consummate filmmaker and his body of work will live on forever. My brother and I are eternally grateful for all his collaborations with us. Our deepest sympathy to his family.”
