Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

The 2013 Oscars Nominations were announced early this morning by host Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone. It was an amusing announcement, which should prove for a fun Oscar night. I’m surprised by some of the nominations and then I’m not because usually Harvey Weinstein is involved. The Oscars are fun to watch but most of the time it’s just a bunch of bullshit because it’s basically whoever campaigned the hardest.

There were a lot of snubs, including Howard Shore and Neil Finn for best score/song for the Hobbit, No Dark Knight Rises noms, Ben Affleck, Quentin Tarantino and Kathryn Bigelow for Best Directing, no West of Memphis or Marley for Best Documentary, and on and on. I wish The Hobbit got at least a few more technical awards but what are you gonna do. Who do I think will win? Obviously it’s between Lincoln and Les Miserables for the most awards but it will be a mixed bag again. I’d love it for Argo to win the top prize.
