BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - October 31, 2007) - Against Me! have announced more dates, beginning November 3rd, on their nationwide headlining tour in support of their latest album and Sire Records debut "New Wave."

Spin Magazine hails "New Wave" as "anthem-packed," "the best rock record in ages" and "the most invigorating, zeitgeist-capturing rock album in years." Rolling Stone concurs, naming it as "one of 2007's best and hardest-rocking records." "New Wave" was released on July 10th and the Gainesville, FL, punk-rock quartet have been on the road since the end of July.

Known for frontman Tom Gabel's politically charged lyrics, roaring vocals, and fist-to-authority ethos, each Against Me! live show is an incendiary experience. The New York Times raves that the album is "...a short, sharp shock: 10 songs, with no shortage of vehemence," and Harp Magazine declares, "It's that totality of vision that makes Against Me! one of the most exciting -- and beautiful -- rock bands in a long, long time."

Against Me!, which also includes guitarist James Bowman, bassist Andrew Seward, and drummer Warren Oakes, signed to Sire Records in November 2005 and entered the studio the following year with producer Butch Vig (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage). They have released three other studio albums, including 2005's introspective, genre-defying "Searching For A Former Clarity," which detailed Gabel's Bush-era frustrations in songs like "From Her Lips To God's Ears," 2003's "As The Eternal Cowboy," and 2002's "Reinventing Axl Rose." The band also released a live album in 2006 titled "Americans Abroad!!! Against Me!!! Live In London!!!."

Against Me! bring their "gritty, angsty gospel" (Relix) to a town near you.
