The long-awaited full-length from NY Punk band AMERICAN DISTRESS is finally ready to hit the shelves. The self-titled release includes 12 newly recorded tracks, including those previously only available on their initial 4-song demo. Official Release Date: March 14, 2006.
The band emerged in 2001 from the remains of the notorious Choking Victim, which spawned numerous subsequent groups [such as INDK, HellCat/Alternative Tentacles' artists Leftover Crack, F-Minus and others] in what many call New York's "crack rock" era. AMERICAN DISTRESS will be taking this album on the road for back-to-back tours around the East Coast and Midwest, settling much of the clamor from fans in those regions for the band to do just that.
In response to questions regarding the long delay in releasing this full-length, band members have posted this subhead with the album's credits: "Absolutely No Thanks to anyone that delayed the release of this album... You Suck!"
