Band Announces Extensive US & International Touring Plans For 2008 (Tour Dates Below)

Tiger Army has been rejoined by stand-up bass player Geoff Kresge, a name that will be no doubt familiar to the Tiger Army faithful. Kresge performed all live shows with the band from 1999 to mid-2004 and appeared on Tiger Army's second and third studio albums, as well as providing back-up vocals on the band's new album, Music From Regions Beyond. Jeff Roffredo has left the band on good terms to pursue other interests.

"I don't think people understand what a difficult decision it was for me to make when I left the band in late-2004, or that it may or may not have been for the reason(s) that the fans have heard or read about. Being given the opportunity to rejoin the band is an exciting prospect," says Kresge.

Nick 13, Geoff Kresge and James Meza hit the road together this week, continuing a long stretch of touring that began with last summer's record release show, the main-stage on the Vans Warped Tour, and the fall's "Razor's Kiss Tour" (which concluded with two sold-out nights at the Wiltern in Los Angeles). The January/ February tour will see the band performing in several US cities for the first time and includes a headlining appearance at the MusInk Festival in Orange County, CA.

Plans are in motion to film a video in February for the second single from Music From Regions Beyond, "Pain," which made its US radio debut this week when Nick 13 appeared for the second time on the nationally syndicated show "Loveline."

Following the US tour and video shoot, Tiger Army will make their long-awaited return to Australia for a headlining tour, including a stop in New Zealand, in March. Soon after, the band returns to Japan. The headlining tour there will be the first since the band's first trip to Japan in 2001. Longtime friends and Japanese psychobilly legends Battle of Ninjamanz will support on all dates. The tour will be comprised of five dates: Fukuoka, Anjo, Osaka, Tokyo and Kawasaki.

April sees Tiger Army headlining night two of the "Satanic Stomp" psychobilly festival in Germany and doing a handful of select shows in Europe, including an exclusive UK appearance in London, a show in Milan, Italy, a gig in Vienna, Austria, two shows in Sweden and a two night stand in Helsinki, Finland that have both already sold out months in advance.

Be sure to get tickets for the band's other European shows in London, Milan, Vienna, Malmo, Stockholm and Lichtenfels, as they are selling fast! Information on all of Tiger Army's international tour dates is available on the band's websites.

2007 was a banner year for Tiger Army. The band released their fourth album, had their first ever radio-single (including several weeks as the most requested on Los Angeles' influential KROQ FM), made their first national TV appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, went on their third Warped Tour and played over one hundred shows from California to Sweden, including radio festivals in California with bands as diverse as Interpol and Bad Religion.

2008 promises to be a very busy & exciting year with much more in store. Catch Tiger Army on tour in January and February (Dates below).
