What's up everybody? Here's a quick update for y'all.
Dave and I are back in Knoxville, TN and have been editing non-stop, at least 12 hours a day for the past week! We're working on the Big D DVD, "Built Up From Nothing". We know that it's taken a long time, but we have over 120 mini DV tapes and thousands of photographs that we've been collecting over the past 12 years. This will be well worth the wait...I promise.
It takes so long because we keep touring and writing records in between editing trips to Tennessee. Our goal is to have it finished by Monday night, then we still have to color correct everything, get the audio mastered, do the artwork and get them pressed. BUT, the end is in near. It sums up everything from 1996 to to entering the studio for Strictly Rude. Crazy, huh?
Our buddy, Chris Mitchell has been staring at his computer for so many hours everyday along with Dave and myself. When we stepped outside today for lunch (we haven't been outside in over 2 days) the sun honestly blinded us!
Well, I should get back to the grind. We're going to have a premier in Boston for the release of the DVD. We're hoping that it'll be at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline, MA. It's definitely the coolest theater in or around Boston. It'll be a dream come true when we see this thing on the big screen...or at least A big screen!
