(CMJ) That's the Brakes! British Sea Power keyboardist Eamon Hamilton has left BSP to focus exclusively on his other band, the Brakes, where he plays the role of 'lead singer.' According to a statement on the band's website, Hamilton left the band amicably due to the ongoing success of the Brakes, who are now on tour with Belle And Sebastian, but it is "not unlikely that Eamon will return for the BSP headlining slot at Glastonbury 2007." Meanwhile, BSP are now seeking a replacement for Hamilton and will soon announce a UK–wide search for a new keyboardist.
