Jump Up Records' ska reggae festival Caribbean Moonstop Festival is happening this October 3rd to the 5th in Chicago. ROY ELLIS aka MR SYMARIP will be headlining one day. Other acts are still being confirmed but here's what Jump Up Records has to say in their latest newsletter:

Gas prices are finally going back down, time to mark your calendar and prepare to road-trip to Chicago's BOTTOM LOUNGE October 3-5! Remember our 10th Anniversary shows? Our Desmond Dekker Weekend at the old BOTTOM LOUNGE? Well - the new BOTTOM LOUNGE is state of the art and we're taking it over for some old moonstomping! THE RUMORS ARE TRUE - ROY ELLIS aka MR SYMARIP will be flying to Chicago for one USA appearance, headlining our Saturday Oct 4th line-up with Pressure Cooker from Boston, Eastern Standard Time from Wash DC, and the Green Room Rockers. On Friday Oct 3rd we've got KING DJANGO, LORD MIKE'S DIRTY CALYPSONIANS, WARRIEKA HILL + 2 TBA. And our Sunday October 5th All Ages Matinee has DR RING DING, THE DRASTICS, SKAPONE, MONKEY and LOS VICIOS DE PAPA.
Throughout the weekend there will be late nite DJ sets at the club's VOLCANO ROOM by DJ CHUCK WREN. members of Deal's Gone Bad, and many others.
