MAR 19 2008 – Equal Vision Records is proud to announce the signing of CINEMATIC SUNRISE, the pop-rock sensation side project of Craig Owens and Bradley Bell – vocalist and keyboardist (respectively) of the highly acclaimed CHIODOS. Even with all of the success of their first project, Bell explains, "There's no good reason to put a ceiling on your music abilities; spread them as far as you can."

CINEMATIC SUNRISE – Craig Owens, vocals; Bradley Bell, keyboards; Bryan Beeler, guitar; Marcus Vankirk, bass; and Dave Shapiro, drums – recorded the 6-track set themselves with Beeler in the role of producer/engineer. The debut EP (title TBA) is set for a May 13, 2008 release.

Although CHIODOS' schedule has been extremely hectic since the release of their sophomore record, Bell reassures us that they'll still be making time for touring as CINEMATIC SUNRISE. "Obviously we can't put as much time into it, but we still take it seriously." Shortly after the album's release, the band will start off on a headlining tour which runs May 15th through May 31st. CINEMATIC SUNRISE will be bringing along friend, VIC FUENTES from label-mates PIERCE THE VEIL, to assist on second guitar for the two week trek. My American Heart and Daphne Loves Derby will be on hand for support. The five-piece will then join this summer's Vans Warped Tour for 6 dates on the SmartPunk Stage.
