Funeral Party, a four-piece electro-rock band from East Los Angeles, signs to Fearless Records today.

With appearances on Indie 103.1, Southern California largest commercial indie music station, and support from college radio, Funeral Party began carving their way into the Los Angeles music scene. Bob Becker, President / A&R at Fearless Records, signed the band after hearing their demos which were recorded by Lars Stralfors at the Mars Volta's rehersal/studio space in Los Angeles. "We are
excited to have Funeral Party join our label," says Bob. "They write amazing songs and have the live show to back it up."

Described by the Los Angeles Times as "a quintet of electro-charged youngsters from East L.A./Whittier. At moments recalling the dance-punk revivalism of early Moving Units and the Rapture and at others bouncing along to a skittish cowbell like LCD Soundsystem."

Funeral Party will be releasing their debut full-length album on Fearless Records soon.

Check out the band on their nationwide tour with Yelle (Astralwerks.)
