Joe Satriani has been a worldwide guitar hero since his 1986 breakthrough album, ‘Surfing with the Alien'. Over 10-million albums and CD's later, in addition to 13 Grammy nominations including this year for his latest studio release 'Super Colossal', Joe continues to push the envelope of modern rock guitar playing. Satriani is currently ranked as the 7th best electric guitar player in the world.

After releasing several critically acclaimed albums over 10 years, in 1996, Satriani and guitarist Steve Vai, embarked on the G3 guitar showcase tour, which became an annual event. By 2000, Satriani released the electronic album ‘Engines of Creation' which earned him a Grammy nomination. Satriani went on to release his most recent live album ‘Satriani Live!'.
