Gigwise: Lily Allen is to be turned into a cartoon aimed at encouraging workers to learn more basic skills.

The ten minute cartoon, which will also feature an animated Levellers, will urge people across the UK to go on specialised training courses.

The film will be shown at music festivals, including Glastonbury, and other events throughout the year.

Unionlearn, the TUC's skills body, said they hoped the cartoon will help to show the work of their teachers.

"There has been a quiet revolution in the workplace, in which trade unions and union learning reps are helping to improve the workforce's skills, which benefits employers, individuals, and the economy," Liz Smith, Unionlearn's director told AP.
