In the summer of 1994 THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES wanted to come up with a way to say Thank you to the city and the people that had been so supportive of the them, that's how The "HOMETOWN THROWDOWN" was born and now the best dressed band from Boston is back after a 4 year hiatus, this years already sold out HOMETOWN THROWDOWN will be at The Middle East, kicking off on Wednesday December 26 thru Sunday December 30 for a five night stand.
The HOMETOWN THROWDOWN--Boston's biggest party of the holiday season featuring plastic Santa's, dancing Menorah's and a holiday themed backdrop adorning the stage, a hard hitting, horn-driven, action packed five days of anthemic ska-punk delivered with care and conviction by THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES as well as many other music performances, you never really know whose going to show up.
