Getting ready for the release of their sophomore album, Survive, on August 29th, Much The Same have posted a new song, "Skeletons" on their myspace page for fans to hear.
"Skeletons is a song about admitting your past mistakes and being able to move on and away from them for the sake of a better future for yourself," says bandleader Gunner McGrath.
Alongside their Nitro Records labelmates A Wilhelm Scream, No Trigger and Crime In Stereo, Much The Same are doing everything they can to bring back substance over style to the underground. Produced by Cameron Webb, Survive is a return to the fast melodic punk sound of the 90's without sounding nostalgic or derivative. Each of the band members shared songwriting responsibility making Survive a reflection of the band as a whole.
The band's debut album, Quitters Never Win, was released on A-F records in 2003 and the band has played with the likes of Bad Religion, Rise Against, Thrice, Strike Anywhere, Anti-Flag, and A Wilhelm Scream.
