Georgia’s southern darlings Ninja Gun have just embarked on another full US tour to support their critically acclaimed album Restless Rubes that was recently released by Suburban Home Records.
The boys recently just came back from the Suburban Home Records 10 year anniversary weekend in Colorado where they got to perform along side of label mates Drag the River, Two Cow Garage, Joey Cape and Ghost Buffalo who will be joining the band for a leg of the tour headed down to THE FEST 7 in Gainesville, Fl.
Restless Rubes got 4 out of 5 stars in this month’s Alternative Press Magazine were writer Sam Sutherland proclaims, “This Unapologetically classic power-pop doesn’t hide its obvious potential commercial strengths by downing a bottle of whiskey before every take; instead, it’s a loving re-imagining of some of the finest radio rock of the ‘70’s and ‘80’s”.
They previously released the album Smooth Transitions on Barracuda Sound.
