The A.K.A.s are proud to announce they have signed with Metropolis Records. Home to past tour-mates Mindless Self Indulgence and The Start!, along with other great bands like Moving Units, The Epoxies, and more.... both band and label are excited about the fit and looking forward to carving their niche of Dance-hall Fight Music together.

"We are stoked to be moving forward on this record with a team of people who believe in the band and are excited about what we're doing."
-Mike Ski/The A.K.A.s

Having just finished up with Producer Alex Newport (At The Drive In, The
Mars Volta, etc) in his new Brooklyn-based studio, The A.K.A.s hit the road starting this Friday for four weeks with Big D and The Kids Table and Whole Wheat Bread. Tour dates can be found at: www.myspace.com/theakas

The new album is slated for a February 2008 release.
