Well apparently XM decided to remove Fungus 53 from their programming starting today. AC/DC radio is taking over the punk station now and I’m pretty pissed about it! Besides Opie and Anthony, Fungus was one of the few stations I listened to everyday. Now I feel like canceling the Satellite radio service because it seems like it’s turning into boring, typical terrestrial radio. I believe Sirius might have removed their punk station as well but I can’t confirm that. either way, XM you better get some punk station back on or I’m done paying!

This is what Fungus 53’s page says now:
That’s right, starting September 15 at 6PM AC/DC will be getting their own XM channel. AC/DC Radio will celebrate the band’s awesome career and also preview their upcoming album Black Ice, their first studio album in eight years.

You’ll hear AC/DC’s music 24/7, plus band members Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams, Brian Johnson, and Phil Rudd talking about their incredible career.

Listeners will also have the chance to vote for their favorite AC/DC song – the votes will be tallied and played back during the “Ultimate AC/DC Countdown.”
