This is an eclectic mess of alternative, grunge, metal, and various punk genres. They even delve into rap-rock (barf).

A couple of songs are more hardcore/punk, and not bad – “Going to the Pub” is a standard shout-along oi/punk tune but is better than most of the album. “Positive” is actually pretty good with high-tuned snappy drums and fuzzy guitars that bring to mind 7 Seconds and even (can’t believe I’m saying this) “Officer/I Got No”-style Operation Ivy. But, hey, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

In a way, it’s good that a band tries different things, but this album sounds directionless and pandering.
