Space March, aka, Craig Simmons is back with another synth-pop album that sounds like its straight out of the 80s! While this album is decent, I think his previous album Monumental is better.

“Mountain King” starts off the album and it’s a take on the Grieg’s “In The Hall Of The Mountain King.” It’s an interesting version of the piece. The rest of the album is sporadically good. Some tracks sound better than others like “Norway” and “Apple of my Eye.” For whatever reason, it just feels like this album is stripped down production-wise and musically compared to the last album. Plus there’s too many slow songs on here, and don’t think it works that well for this style of music. I think I have to listen to this more but initial reaction is that it could be better.

Bottom Line: For fans of Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, and Depeche Mode
Notable Tracks: Mountain King, Norway, Apple of my Eye
