It tends to make me dismiss the whole book. I have to say I agree with you, too, about the story being interesting. I knew very little about <a href="http://www.theintentionexperiment.com/" rel="nofollow"> Noetic Science </a> and I found that very interesting indeed. Brown mentions "The Intention Experiment by Lynne McTaggart, and the whole idea of the power of group thought. I did a little research from that and have found it extremely intriguing -- she studies the power our minds have to make physical changes and the power behind a group holding one thought. She recently wrote a blog entry about the power of the group beyond mob rule which had a great line at the end about how, just because you're a Repubilcan you don't get to behave badly to a Democrat. I love political web sites, as well as book ones, so that made me laugh. I'd say there's bad behavior on both sides these days!
