The plot is simple. And to some of you gamers out there, Silent Hill-esque. A father is trying to get his autistic daughter out of the hospital, when all of a sudden, all hell breaks loose…literally. So it’s up to him and the few others left behind to figure out how to escape this hell and get out of the hospital alive. Pay attention while watching too….you may indeed miss some minor key points that will help you understand the ending. Oh, and Finnish heavy metal band Lordi star in it. Gwar like costumes and all (only their music is much better).

Now, I do love the band Lordi, but I wasn’t expecting much out of this one. I mean, seriously…a band that dresses like Gwar running around terrorizing people in a hospital? Surprisingly tho, I absolutely loved this movie! I couldn’t stop watching it, I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie, and at the end I still wanted more. Where do I even begin?

The atmosphere was Silent Hill-ish. It takes place in a creepy abandoned/delapotated hospital where everyone is dead but the main characters. Spooky sounds, time freezing. The atmosphere alone got me to automatically love this movie. Sure, the acting was pretty bad, but at times you actually felt bad for the characters that did die. (Well, except for one douche…but whatever. There’s one in every movie). Of course, the autistic girl is why the hospital is creepified now. And she’s also why these people are being chased by “demons” played by the band Lordi.

I can’t really say too much else, it’s one of those movies with plot twists and an ending that all you can say is “what the f***!” Lets hope your other friends have seen it so you can discuss this with them. (If you want to discuss this movie after seeing it, please e-mail me: [email protected] . thank you.)

I say check this one out. If you’re into psychological horror, or just looking for something new to watch Netflix, buy, blockbuster, whatever this one. It’s definitely worth a watch! Its creepy, and very well done!

Bottom Line: Great flick. Pretty unknown so check it out
