Many bands and artists have already donated money to various Haiti charities and now Asian Man Records is as well. Mike Park and Asian Man Records are offering up an awesome Asian Man Records package worth 30 bucks. O Pioneers! announce Fall/Winter dates
Houston, TX’s O Pioneers are gearing up once again to hit the road to support their album Neon Creeps. They’ll be heading out later this month to cover most of the US, including a few evenings where they’ll share the stage with Against Me!, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Polar Bear Club, and Lemuria.

Asian Man Records’ Ben Weasel blowout sale!
Mike Park announced that Asian Man Records won’t be carrying Ben Weasel merch after December 12th. Ben Weasel is going to have Recess Records handle all the merchandise for Screeching Weasel, Riverdales, Ben Weasel solo albums from now on. Asian Man Records offering Riverdales pre-sale special!
The new Riverdales album “Invasion USA” will be out on July 14th on Asian Man Records. Asian Man Records is offering up a special pre-sale for their new album, which includes a lot of awesome goodies for a low price. I can’t wait to hear this new album, but wish Ben Weasel would spend a few days away from Illinois and come play in New York.

Mike Park/Classics of Love tour starts today!
Mike Park is touring with Jesse Michaels’ new band Classics of Love in Minnesota and Illinois for a few days. You might know Jesse Michaels from Operation Ivy and Common Rider. Mike Park, as you know, runs Asian Man Records and used to be in Skankin’ Pickle. After a few dates in the US, they are off to the UK for a tour. They don’t have any place to stay, so be sure to go out to their shows and offer them a place to stay!

Standard post-punk with good, gruffy HWM-ish vocals. Straight-forward indie rock accompaniment does away with spazzy, abrasive, and stop-and-go annoyances, but they could stand to be more peppy.

Geez! I’ve got a ton of great stuff coming out! Way to many to list, but look for a bunch of 7″ stuff. I plan on running asian man out of my parents garage forever! I love the label and hope my work reflects on the stuff I put out!

5 years.
What was your goal when you first started asian man and do you think you are achieving it?
I just wanted to put out records. And have fun doing it. Luckily I’m able to make a living off the label. A definite bonus, so I’m happy and blessed.
