Bonnaroo announces DVD Release of 2009 Festival
Superfly Presents and A.C. Entertainment are excited to announce the details for the Bonnaroo 2009 DVD. Entitled Live From Bonnaroo 2009, the DVD will be released on December 15, 2009. The cost for the DVD will be $16.95. DVDs were initially made available to ticket buyers for the price of $10 including shipping and handling. There will be a limited number available for pre-order through the Bonnaroo website for $15 plus shipping and handling.

Adam “MCA” Yauch has cancer – upcoming tour canceled!
Adam Yauch of The Beastie Boys has found that he has cancer and needs to get it treated as soon as possible. The cancer is treatable since it was discovered fairly early on. Obviously, the band had to cancel their upcoming tour including a date at Jersey City’s All Points West festival. Beastie Boys will also be delaying their release of their next album while Adam gets treated. While I can’t stand the Beastie Boys, it’s always sad to hear someone in music getting something like this. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery so I can go back to making fun of the Beastie Boys’ music again and not be hated by everyone.

Video: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at Bonnaroo
Triumph The Insult Comic Dog was making the rounds at Bonnaroo last weekend. Last night on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, Conan debuted the hilarious bit. He talks to TV on the Radio, Beastie Boys, and lots of hippies and drunk people. It’s perhaps the best segment he’s done since making fun of the Star Wars nerds at the Episode 1 premiere. Outside Lands music & arts festival announce the 2009 lineup featuring Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys, Incubus, Black Eyed Peas, M.I.A., The Mars Volta, Thievery Corporation, Modest Mouse, Ween and Jason Mraz. The groundbreaking three-day event returns to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park to take place August 28 – 30, 2009. All Points West Music & Arts Festival 2009 lineup announced
All Points West Music & Arts Festival announced it’s initial lineup this morning. Most of the lineup isn’t a surprise, to me at least. The festival will be happening from July 31st to August 2nd at Liberty State Park in New Jersey. Read more to see the full lineup!
